Village June 2020 Minutes

June 10, 2020

Present: Maksimchuk’s, Tate, Ustishen, L. Olk, Besaw, Gauthier, Seamon, Birchmeier

Meeting called to order by Mayor John Maksimchuk at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of allegiance.

Motion to accept the minutes by Seamon, support by Gauthier, motion
carried.

Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report by L. Olk, support by Besaw, motion
carried.

Police, Zoning and DPW reports on file.

Motion by J. Maksimchuk, support by Seamon, to rescind the original motion to sell the property on Saginaw Street, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Park Committee report, wrought iron fence being installed around the other two open sides. Discussion of trash cans being placed, will talk to DDA.

Street commissioner discussed August Meadows 2 & 3 street project, including a letter sent to all homeowners in that area. Project could begin the end of July, beginning of August. DDA agreed to fund the project.

Motion to pay all the bills by Gauthier, support by Ustishen, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Declared meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
