Maksimchuk’s, Olk, Ustishen, Birchmeier, Besaw, Seamon, Gauthier
Meeting called to order by Mayor John Maksimchuk at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion by Seamon, support by Gauthier to accept the Minutes, motion carried. Motion by Birchmeier, support by Besaw to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.
Cindy Kinsey from DDA was present to discuss Holly Jolly Eve planning, meeting set for 6:30, August 23 to help plan, need volunteers.
Sara Talbot, CPA from Horner and Greer gave rough draft of Audit report. Motion by Maksimchuk, to accept the rough draft with changes that were discussed during meeting, support, Besaw, discussion, roll call vote,all yeas. Motion carried.
Police, DPW and Zoning Reports are on file.
Motion by Olk, support by Ustishen to accept the school contract with Police Department, discussion roll call vote, 1 nay vote,Seamon, rest yeas, motion carried.
Motion by Maksimchuk, support by Besaw to set agreed wages for Fred Yaklin to $14.50 per hour for mowing lawns, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
Motion by Maksimchuk, support by Ustishen to allow the Nazarene Church to continue rental of a classroom, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
Motion by Maksimchuk, support by Olk to have a public hearing at our September 14th meeting to adopt the DDA plan and renewal, motion carried.
Water rate increase will be placed on the agenda next month.
Motion by Olk, support by Besaw to pay all the bills, all yeas, motion carried.
