Village April 2023 Minutes
April 12, 2023
Present: Maksimchuk, McCormic, Olk, Birchmeier, Seamon, Gauthier, Mills, Ustishen, Tate
Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of allegiance by Mayor Charles McCormic. Motion by Seamon, support by Mills, to accept the minutes, motion carried. Motion by Gauthier, support by Birchmeier to accept the Treasurer’s Report, motion carried.
Jerry Burns was present to ask permission to use the Pavillion and park for a wedding on June 10th, permission given.
Betty Birchmeier was present to discuss the sidewalk to be placed in front of her property. Does not want it.
Cindy Kinsey from DDA is sponsoring a town wide garage sale May 18th.
Police, DPW and Zoning reports on file.
Kirk Newman, a past deceased member of our Police Department has donated to the Department his Police Department Motorcycle.
Would be used mainly for parades, not for patrol. Will check with Insurance company.
Motion by Seamon, support by Olk to award Gross Construction $8,500.00 to do 51 sections of sidewalk on Saginaw Street, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
Declared meeting adjourned at 7:31 p.m.
