Village August 2023 Minutes

August 9, 2023

Present, Maksimchuk, Tate, Olk, Birchmeier, McCormick, Mills, Gauthier    Absent:  Seamon, Ustishen

Meeting called to order by Mayor McCormick at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.  Motion by Olk to amend and accept the minutes with the change that the Safe Routes To School Grant has been tentatively awarded but the dollar amount has not yet been determined, support by Mills, motion carried.  Motion by Olk, support by Mills to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.

Police, DPW, Zoning and DDA reports are on file.

Motion by Birchmeier support by Mills to renew our membership to Shiawassee Economic Development Investment for $1,000.00 per year, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Olk, support by Mills to purchase a new copy machine for $2,463.00 from Ecosystem (Brady’s Business Systems), roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Olk, support by Mills to pay all the bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
