April DDA 2024 Minutes

April 18, 2024 – New Lothrop DDA Minutes 

Members present:  Pete Stewart, Dave Schnell, Zach Besaw, Tammy Schiefer, Cindy Kinsey, Charles McCormic (Skip).     Absent: Mark Birchmeier, Kayla McCormic, Taylor Copes                                            Meeting started at 6:45 PM

Pledge of Allegiance

1. Cindy made a motion to approve the meeting minutes for March. Second by Zach. Unanimous, motion carried.
2. No Treasurer’s Report. The treasurer is absent.
3. Special Guest & Comments:  None
4. Old Business:  Skip had a map of proposed changes with lights. If the grant doesn’t go through, DDA will fix it. Carl will continue to work for the grant for the streets.  
5. New Business: Signs coming into town need to be updated.  Use money from Beautification.  Cindy spoke to Lorraine and placed an ad in the Tri-County Citizen for the Garage Sales, which will be May 16, 17, and 18 in New Lothrop. A business customer mentioned that their business name was incorrect in the ad. Karen needs a new desk, will get a price on a desk.  
6. No bills to pay. The treasurer is absent.
