Village February 2019 Minutes

Present: Maksimchuk’s, P. Olk, Seamon, Ustishen, L. Olk, Stan
Birchmeier, K. Gauthier

Meeting called to order by Mayor Maksimchuk at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge
of Allegiance. Motion by L. Olk, support by S. Birchmeier to accept the
minutes, motion carried. Motion by P. Olk, support by L. Olk to accept the
Treasurer’s report, motion carried.
Opened public hearing at 7:03 p.m. for Truth in Taxation Hearing, no
discussion, closed public hearing at 7:04 p.m. Opened Public Hearing for
Budgets at 7:05 p.m., no discussion, closed hearing at 7:06 p.m.
No Police Report, DPW and zoning reports are on file.
Motion by Seamon, support by P. Olk to set the mills for the Village at 11,
roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
Motion by S. Birchmeier, support by L. Olk to accept budgets as discussed,
roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
Motion by Maksimchuk, support by Gauthier to appoint Roy Moore to fill
DDA vacancy, motion carried.
Commission reports – Water Insurance claim filed and payment is on its
way. Water Commissioner will check into Surge Protector for water plant.
Street Commissioner thanked DPW crew for their snow plowing, great job!
Motion by P.Olk, support by Gauthier to pay all the bills, roll call vote, all
yeas, motion carried.
Laura Olk was appointed as Deputy Clerk at $13 per hour as discussed.
