Village January 2017 Minutes

January 11, 2017

Present: Maksimchuk’s, Olk’s, Seamon, Tate, Gauthier, Burns

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance by Mayor Jerry Burns. Motion by Maksimchuk, support by L. Olk to accept the minutes, motion carried.

Motion by Maksimchuk, support by P. Olk to accept the Treasurer’s Report, motion carried.

Public Comments: Deb Collins was present to ask about burned out property on Saginaw Street. After Police Chief obtains all the reports and actions done by Zoning Administrator, he will issue a ticket/warrant to property owner. All attempts will be made to notify homeowner.

DDA President thanked our Snow Removal crew for all their work with snowplowing.

Police, DPW and Zoning Reports are on file.

*Andy Wolford arrived at 7:40 p.m. Village Clerk swore in Wolford to fill 2 year Trustee vacancy.

Discussed sewer line at Dennis Huntoon residence, sewer commissioner will get with homeowner. DPW recommends that the Village take a camera to line in the spring.

Motion by P. Olk, support by Maksimchuk that our next meeting will be a Public Hearing for Truth In Taxation Hearing and budgets, motion carried.

Motion by P. Olk, support by Gauthier to pay all the bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
