Village June 2017 Minutes

June 16, 2017

Present: Burns, Seamon, Poletti, Wolford, Gauthier, P. Olk
Absent: Maksimchuk’s, L. Olk

Meeting called to order by Mayor Jerry Burns at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Motion by P. Olk, support by Seamon to accept the minutes, motion carried.

Motion by Seamon, support by Gauthier to accept Treasurer’s report, motion carried.

Public Comments, Jami Moriarity addressed Council in regards to letter sent to subdivision property owners.

Police, DPW and Zoning reports are on file.

Motion by Burns, support by P. Olk to pay Bob Delaney $500.00, roll call vote, 1 no vote, Seamon, rest yeas, motion carried.

Discussion in regards to terminating water service to a property. Attorney advised property owners need to make a formal request
in person or in writing.

Motion by Burns, support by P. Olk to declare Sir John A. McDonald – Canada Day on July 1, 2017, motion carried.

Spicer Engineering was present to make a presentation of their discoveries from SAW grant.

Motion by Burns, support by P. Olk to pay all the bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
