Village November 2019 Minutes

November 13, 2019

Present: Maksimchuk’s, Seamon, L. Olk, Ustishen, Gauthier, S. Birchmeier, Z. Besaw, Tate

Meeting called to order by Mayor John Maksimchuk at 7:00 p.m. with the
Pledge of Allegiance.

Motion by Seamon, support by Olk to accept the minutes as amended to include the Ordinance is a Vicious Dog Ordinance and not just a Pit Bull Ordinance, motion carried.

**A phone vote was taken on October 21, 2019 to approve an easement for Century Link, all yeas, were recorded, phone vote was unanimous. Motion by Seamon, support by Olk to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.

Public Comments: Steve Rutkowski from Spicer Engineering was present
to update council on the sewer project. Discussed damage to lagoon pump
at the pump station. Overall, project was a success.

Police, DPW, and Zoning Reports on file.

Motion by Gauthier, support by Z. Besaw to pay DPW Superintendent, Al
Ayres on Emergency after hours DPW calls, he will be compensated at
time and a half for a minimum of 2 hours and time and half subsequent
time after, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by J. Maksimchuk, support by S.Birchmeier to appoint Holly
Ustishen as Deputy Clerk, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by J. Maksimchuk, support by Olk to increase the Capitol outlay in
the Police Department, $5,500, and increase Capitol Outlay in General
Fund, $3,300, for the purchase and installation of the building generator,
discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Discussed Cross Connection Control program, Water Commissioner will
review and will discuss at next meeting.

Motion Gauthier, support by Ustishen too pay all the bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
