Village October 2020 Minutes

October 14, 2020

Present: Maksimchuk’s, S. Birchmeier, Ustishen, Tate, L. Olk, Seamon, (Microsoft Team livestream), Gauthier, Besaw

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by the Village President, John Maksimchuk with the Pledge of allegiance.

Motion by Gauthier, support by Olk to accept the minutes, motion carried.
Motion by Olk, support Gauthier to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.

Police, DPW, and Zoning Reports on file.

Motion by Olk, support by Besaw to hire Brian Gibson as a part time police officer, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried. Village Clerk swore in new officer.

Employee Salary/pay raise policy results are in, Mayor will meet with Commissioners at 6:00 on November 11 th , post as 4 members will be present.

Halloween will remain the same, 6-8, leave to parent discretion.
Water Clerk, Motion by Besaw, support by Gauthier to appoint Holly Ustishen as new water clerk, discussion, roll call vote, 1 abstain, Ustishen, rest yeas, motion carried.

COVID Relief Protective measures discussed. Face masks and shields, hand
sanitizers, and gloves were purchased for all employees.

Property on Genesee Street discussed. Motion by Gauthier, support by Olk to have DPW clean up front yard, and trim. Roll call vote 1 no vote, Birchmeier, rest yeas, motion carried.

Motion to pay all bills by Gauthier, support by Besaw, roll call vote, all yeas, Motion carried.

Declared meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
